One last weekend getaway before Long Beach Skate was to open, Tim and Carrie headed to Palm Springs for a mini-vaca.
It took about an hour to get to the the top where the picnic tables were and to see the beautiful view of the entire city of Palm Springs. Tim suggested going up on a rock with a little higher elevation for a photo opp before lunch. He pulled the jackets and camera from the backpack. Once settled, Tim turned to Carrie and said "I can't think of a more beautiful place to do this." He bent down on one knee and asked her to marry him.
The couple have been into hiking so Tim picked out a great spot for the two to go up and have a picnic on April 12.
After about 30 minutes up the mountain, dark clouds roll in and sprinkles start. Carrie suggested turning back as to not get caught in a thunderstorm. Tim said "no let's keep going, it shouldn't be too much longer until we get to the picnic tables." Reluctantly, Carrie followed Tim up the mountain.
